Google Launches Online Hard Drive Service

  • Google has launched the much-anticipated online hard drive, Google Drive.

    While details are still emerging, Google drive promises 5 gigs for free storage and 25 gigs for an extra $2.49. Google drives syncs with all of the google document products and can reportedly handle large file transfers.

    Some users have been able to sign up for he service, and TechCrunch has a screenshot of the drag-and-drop action:
