90’s hair clips are making a comeback! Solangé paved the way for this trend in 2016 when she wore snap clips to the CFDA Awards. Now, the look is taking over Instagram. The clips are typically worn on either side of a middle part, and snap clips aren’t the only thing being used to achieve the look either.
Some people are using bobby pins instead of clips. Miley Cyrus even rocked the look on Carpool Karaoke in 2017. The look has graced fashion runways, and sometimes tells its own story. Clips are being sold in all different shapes and sizes. Even claw clips are making a come back. The hair clips were popular in the 90’s with characters like Rachel Green sporting them.
