24-year-old Eugenia Cooney announced she will be taking a break from youtube and social media to focus on her health. Eugenia Cooney is a YouTube creator with over 1.2M subscribers who vlogs about fashion and beauty. Unfortunately, her latest videos have raised some serious concern amongst her fans.

Witnessing Eugenia’s increasingly dangerous weight loss, hundreds of comments flooded her recent videos begging her to get help. Bobby said “Please please get some help. We all struggle with our own issues, but we all have to do something about it in order to heal. I used to be addicted to drugs, and it was really hard but I was able to quit them. The first thing I did that helped me was listening to the people that cared about me. Please listen”

And after Eugenia seemed to go quiet on social media, some of her fans feared the worst.

But Eugenia resurfaced to dispel the rumors saying, Hey guys! I’ve been offline for a while and I’m sooo sorry if I worried anyone! That was not my intention at all. I’ve just been taken a much needed break from the negativity and having some positive time offline. I’ll be back soon! 🙂

She addressed the rumors saying: “Hi guys! I appreciate the concern. I’m taking a break from social media and voluntarily working on this with my doctor privately. Please respect that.”

This announcement sent a shockwave through the YouTube community, as fans have been concerned about Eugenia’s health for years.
Creators reached out. Keemstar said “Great Job! So proud of you.” Perez Hilton said “Sending you positive vibes!” hane Dawson added “sending so much love”

Her fans were also relieved and supportive.
