BlockChain Report 10/3: Coinbase Bundles, DrumGChain and More!

Ah, another day another Blockchain Report, with your delightful host, Taylor Nikolai. Today we will be discussing Coinbase Bundles, Crypto start-up DrumGChain, and the involvement of Russian forces and the UN in this new currency technology.

According to Business Insider, Coinbase is looking to lure in new investors by adding a feature called “Coinbase Bundles.” Coinbase Bundles will allow users to purchase a weighted basket of five cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ethereum Classic.

Then, $6.5 million has been invested into a new blockchain startup. According to Coindesk, Ethereum development studio ConsenSys has invested in a company called DrumG Technologies. DrumG Technologies is founded by a former R3 executive. One of the specific projects that’s going to be worked on is called the Titanium Network, which is “Decentralised, anonymous and cryptographically secured OTC consensus data solution for investment bank trading and valuation operations.”

Russian state nuclear energy corporation, or “Rosatom,” has decided that it’s going to focus on a few key areas: artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and, you guessed it, blockchain technology. Rosatom’s IT department head said they are committed to integrating 4.0 technologies on a wider scale.

And finally on today’s show, a speech was made at the UN about crypto being the future. Malta’s prime minister, Joseph Muscat, gave a speech at the general debate of the 73rd Session of the General Assembly of the UN.Malta has made efforts to regulate blockchain technologies unlike most other nations.
