Ex-Classmate Spills TEA About Olivia Jade

Apparently we have some inside “tea” on the Olivia Jade college admissions scandal. A former classmate of the beauty mogul, Harlow Brooks, took to Youtube a few days ago to reveal her stance on the entire situation:

“I remember when I was touring the school, I saw a picture of Olivia Jade’s sister actually, Bella, I think, on the wall with the seniors. It read ‘Congratulations, Bella for getting into USC!’ And I was like, ‘Wow, that’s crazy, USC is super hard to get into’ (she winked). I remember hearing later that Olivia had also gotten into USC… so not only one sister but both of them got in. I was like, ‘I guess maybe they got in cause their mom’s a celebrity, maybe she donates a lot of money, or paid someone to pretend like her daughter were on the crew team.”

Ouch.

She continues, “I would have to get up at 6 every morning, and I would leave school at 4. Then I would have 6 hours of homework. This is when I started thinking… ‘How is she doing this? I didn’t have time to do anything out of school other than school, and I was in easy classes. How does she travel for Youtube, how does she have time to makeup Youtube videos?’ It just didn’t make sense to me.”

Gretchen Geraghty, another prominent Youtuber and former D1 crew athlete at Boston University, also took to the social media site to share her opinion on the scam. “I rowed for 6 years and worked my butt of. For everyone else getting in just by their parents paying and lying to the school is just crazy to me.”

Lori and her husband, Mossimo Gianulli were arrested last week for bribing businessman William Singer of New Port, California for getting their daughters into USC for half a million dollars. Singer had Bella and Olivia recruited by the USC crew team, their mom even going as far as placing them on crew machines to send pictures of alleged “proof” to back up their wrongdoing.

Although Olivia was not arrested, she has had major repercussions from the scandal.. The youtuber was dropped by Sephora, whom she collaborated on a highlighter palette with, as well as her #NYFW partner, Tresemme. Not to mention one of her favorite clothing brands, Princess Polly, has taken down her entire collection with them from their website.
