David Letterman’s Star-Studded Final “Top Ten” List
David Letterman’s final night as host of the Late Show was mostly filled with montages remembrances of past bits on the show. And there’s nothing wrong with that. After 6,028 shows, there’s going to be good stuff to look back on. But one of the highlights of Dave’s last show was his last “Top Ten” list. Instead of reading down the list himself, Letterman outsourced the “Top Ten” to some of his most frequent and beloved guests. What follows is the perfect “Top Ten Things I’ve Always Wanted to Say to Dave.”
The list included popular — and frequent — guests like Alec Baldwin, Jim Carrey, and Jerry Seinfeld. (Baldwin actually explains why he’s such a frequent guest in his bit.) We won’t spoil who actually has the #1 spot, but if you know who Letterman’s first guest ever was, you’ll know who to look for.
