Kevin Hart Is Stronger Than Conan (At Least Physically)
Kevin Hart and Conan O’Brien hit the gym to promote Hart’s new movie-length stand up special, Kevin Hart: What Now? We’ve focused on the more political aspects of Conan’s show recently, so it’s good to have a bit of fun.
Conan and Kevin Hart start the video out by addressing the elephant in the room – just how pale Conan is. Hart says, “I hate how pale you are”, but what does he expect, Conan’s a ginger. Conan throws in some “unnecessary karate kicks” and talks about a scar on his leg from a tuna can in the 70’s.
Then they get to the first workout – pull-ups. Conan is able to get one quickly out of the way, before Hart does a truly impressive five, getting his chest over the bar. When Conan is unable to do the same, he asks Hart to boost him from an uncomfortable position.
Their gym host/trainer then comes over and gets them started on Crossfit exercises, including lifting and throwing a ball, and doing core crunches with a different ball. There’s really a lot of ball exercises in Crossfit — unsurprising considering how well-rounded those exercises are! Ha ha! (No but really, Crossfit is creepy and culty.)
The video ends with Hart creating *camera change* a promotional video for working out. It doesn’t appear that Conan’s “body of a Dutch woman” has been all that affected though, and Hart hasn’t broken a sweat.
This video has been blowing up, like everything else involving Kevin Hart. Remember when he killed Drop the Mic on Corden a few months ago? How about his other classic appearances on Conan, like this legendary video of the two of them and Ice Cube helping out a student driver?
