The Gabbie Show, otherwise known as Gabbie Hanna, has put an end to all the accusations, and most importantly, the infamous RiceGum situation, in the classic YouTube manner: a diss track.

Gabbie Hanna is known for causing a bit of drama over YouTube, usually about her crazy day-to-day life, but most recently, within the YouTube community. Although, you have to love her for it, because she does call people out, and doesn’t spread any lies or rumors like many other YouTubers have been known to do. Not only has she had to deal with drama from other creators, but also with the copious amounts of comments from people all over different social media sites, calling her out for lying, or for stealing content, even going as far to say that she doesn’t have a belly button and is in fact, a clone! Yeah, that last one is a little bit crazy, but people will make up anything for a bit of attention.

The diss track starts off very Eminem-esque, talking to the camera whilst a heavy beat plays in the background. She then goes into the rap and begins talking about how she lives alone in a cheap apartment and is always at the gym as people know because she posts about it every single time she goes. Gabbie’s rap flow is definitely up there, as she manages to rhyme everything without even trying. There is no overwhelming background music, no half-naked girls dancing around a pool, and no fancy cars involved *ahem RiceGum and Jake Paul.* Although Gabbie address how she loves the attention, and how her job may be considered as a joke, it takes a turn into an emotional ballad, as she begins to discuss the effects of the RiceGum situation.

She begins by re-enacting the situation, where a Rice Gum lookalike comes into shot and grabs her phone, and smashes it. As the music begins to fade, Gabbie is shown taking to her bed and begins talking about the real struggles of her everyday life. As she nearly breaks down, talking about how she’s too old for this, and how she feels at the bottom of the universe, you can see what really is behind closed doors.

Gabbie has openly mentioned about her battles with depression and anxiety and how she has faced many situations that have only made her struggles worse. Although she may seem like she has the life that people could only dream of, there are many things that she wishes she didn’t have. She finishes the rap by saying, “I hate who I’ve become”, and then the title of her upcoming album ‘Honestly’ and the release date appears on the screen.

Although the rap started off as all fun and games, by the end of the video, we were reduced to tears. Gabbie has once again stunned us all with how her song has taken a turn, just like her song Out Loud. The diss track sums up the lives of many YouTubers and how people don’t understand that they are just normal people, it was very down to earth and brave.
