It’s kind of a bad idea to piss off nurses, as “The View” found out today.

The ladies of “The View” were discussing Miss America contestant Kelley Johnson, who got a lot of attention this week for the original monologue she performed during the talent portion. Wearing scrubs and a stethoscope, Kelley told a story about her experience working with an Alzheimer’s patient.

True, this didn’t translate well to a stage performance, but Michelle Collins and Joy Behar may have taken it a bit far when they acted like nursing itself was not a talent to be proud of, and implied that Johnson shouldn’t be wearing a stethoscope, because only very manly McDreamy-like doctors are allowed to wear those or something.

The clip was uploaded yesterday and has only 200 likes and more than 10,000 dislikes, and inspired the hashtag #nursesunite on Twitter.
