Once you’ve dressed up in a white Batman costume for prom, you can pretty much wear anything you want.
Jaden Smith was featured in Louis Vuitton’s new Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, wearing a skirt – and looking damn good in his skirt, if you ask me. Screw gender norms, you’ve gotta make your style your own. He was photographed with fellow models Sarah Brannon, Rianne Van Rompaey, and Jean Campbell.
Fox News immediately clutched their pearls with this headline: JADEN SMITH WEARS SKIRT:
Yes you heard that correctly. The 17-year-old was picked by the fashion house’s designer and Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière to front the campaign, announcing the news by posting two pictures of Jaden wearing a skirt on his Instagram account.
The actor / mystical child of the universe was photographed by Bruce Weber, who shot a lot of those partially naked Abercrombie and Fitch ads that come as close as they can to porn without actually being porn.
Jaden also made headlines in May when he wore a skirt to prom with actress Amandla Stenberg, which is just a little bit less cool than the white Batman suit.
