Kumail Nanjiani is the latest person to join the cast of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 4 for Hulu.

Nanjiani will be appearing in a reoccurring role for the series that has been under wraps as of late, but Variety claims an inside source says his character will be an integral part of the season’s investigation.

As of late, the series saw cast Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, and Molly Shannon joining the upcoming season. Stars like Maryl Streep is set to reprise her role from Season 3. The series has been led by the likes of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez.

The details for the new season have yet to be revealed aside from the known fact the three main characters will be making a trip to Los Angeles before returning to New York.

John Hoffman, Short, and Gomez all executive produce “Only Murders in the Building” along with Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. It was created by Martin and Hoffman. 20th Television is the studio.

Najiani previously starred in “Welcome to Chippendales” on Hulu, which earned him a nomination for his role.

Najiani received an Academy Award nomination in 2018 along with his wife, Emily Gordon, for best original screenplay for their film “The Big Sick.” Nanjiani also starred in the film. He is also known for role in the HBO comedy series “Silicon Valley,” on which he starred throughout the show’s critically-acclaimed six season run. Aside from “The Big Sick,” his film credits include the Marvel Studios feature “Eternals,” “The Lega Ninjago Movie,” and “The Lovebirds.”
