YouTube's famous singing Cimorelli sisters rocked the What's Trending studio today with a stunning a capella cover of the summer hit "Some Nights" by fun. and joined Shira Lazar and Tyler Oakley in answering fans' burning questions.
The six starlets -- Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren and Dani -- have been steadily building a major online following for their viral covers, including hit tracks from Jessie J, Demi Lovato, Taio Cruz, and One Direction. And now they prepare for their debut album of all original songs, including the smash song "Million Bucks," to drop in 2013.
When asked about the advantages and challenges of working with your sisters, Katherine said, "It makes things easier. In terms of communication, you don't have to beat around the bush. You can kind of just be more blunt." She joked, "But then at the same time that can also be a bad thing...but I would say mainly good!"
The ladies also shared some special talents and hobbies: Lisa loves to experiment with different ways of painting her nails; Amy likes to create crazy gifts, for instance, she wrote Lisa a 10,000-word story once; Lauren is exceptionally skilled at untangling a mess of headphone wires! That may sound strange, but those things can get pretty darn annoying.
We're sure CimFam fans can relate to some of those quirky qualities and we'll remember them as the singers climb their way to the top of the music biz. For now, it's time for a live serenade!
