New Mom Halle Bailey Teases Return to Music: ‘Back to My Love’

Halle Bailey, the versatile 24-year-old singer and actress, is gearing up to refocus on her music career after wrapping up her latest film project. In an Instagram update on Wednesday, June 19, Halle shared her upcoming plans with fans.

“i have one more week until i wrap this movie 🎥 and then it’s back to my love musicccc ♥️,” Halle wrote, accompanying her post with a photo of herself clad in a turquoise bikini top and skirt, matching her turquoise guitar and strap.

Earlier this year, Halle and her sister Chloe Bailey, collectively known as the duo Chloe x Halle, discussed their musical journey in an interview with PEOPLE. They highlighted their collaboration with CORE Hydration and teased exciting projects slated for 2024.

“We’re definitely working on really exciting things together, and it’s been very nostalgic,” Chloe, 25, shared. “It’s bringing us back to our roots, and we can’t wait until we can present that to the world.”

Chloe emphasized that their new music will “definitely be huge,” hinting at both joint efforts and individual pursuits.

“I would definitely just say you’ll see new music and new projects, and more seeing us together,” Halle added. “It’s more blessings, and we’re just really grateful and excited to be continuing.”

Reflecting on their past successes, Chloe and Halle have made significant strides since their debut album “The Kids Are Alright” in 2018 and the subsequent release of “Ungodly Hour” in 2020. Chloe ventured into solo territory with her album “In Pieces” in 2023, while Halle launched her solo career with the single “Angel” the same year.

Both sisters have also showcased their acting chops, with Halle starring in notable projects like the live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” and the upcoming film “Atlantis,” directed by Michel Gondry. Chloe, meanwhile, has appeared in films such as “Jane” and “Praise This,” and is forging ahead with her own musical and acting endeavors.
