Karp is a staunch opponent of the bill and has been using his blogging platform to make his voice heard. “There was a very good chance that this bill was going to be driven through the House floor with very little input from anybody in the industry that this would have such a major effect on,” he said.
Karp continued to explain what he felt he could do to rally people online to become aware of SOPA and take action. He told us the blacked out and censored the dashboard on Tumblr to give users a taste of what might happen if the bill passed.
