And indeed, you would, because the X-Men are headed to the Cinematic Marvel Universe, under the vision of current MCU super producer Kevin Feige. Kevin Feige, as many know, got his Marvel producer start with the original X-Men franchise at the turn of the millennium before transitioning to the Disney owned MCU. Now, due to a deal with Fox that is no doubt a result of the merger, and similar to the one with Sony that brought Spider-Man to the cinematic universe, where Sony shares the rights and gets to do some of its own thing, the X-Men will indeed be transitioning to the MCU, with a new Wolverine in tow.
