‘Treat All Women With Respect’ – New Anti-Violence Anthem?

Note: The mockery of the above video that is about to ensue in no way aims to belittle its message, that violence against women and children is wrong.

Now that that’s out of the way, this song is fucking terrible. It is going to inspire tens of thousands of teenagers to consider being violent toward their peers because of its sheer laughability. What they should have done is encouraged that kind of illegal behavior so that it can be dismissed as the work of an immoral lunatic.

NotYourHoNoMo, who submitted this video to Reddit, says her sister is trying to get into the dance industry, and took a job in this DaddyDaDa video.

Now, credit where it’s due, “One, two, three four/No more women on the floor” is a good play on the classic Coolio lyric from “1 2 3 4 (Sumpin New).” However, that is completely counteracted by “Know your child, love your child and provide/She might be the next Beyonce or Sally Ride.” Right. Because all children aspire to be either Beyonce or the first American woman in space.

At least DaddyDaDa didn’t bother memorizing the lyrics. (Reference: The not-so-subtle looking at the cue cards/teleprompter every few seconds.)
