“South Park” Skewers Internet Safe Spaces with Broadway-Style Number

"Everyone likes me and thinks I'm great in my safe space!"

“South Park” decided to take on the sensitive issue of shaming in their latest episode, and after the whole Nicole Arbour “lol it’s just satire” mess, that’s enough to make any socially-conscious person hold their breath. But we did get this killer show tune from Cartman out of it.

Cartman’s storyline was all about body-shaming, with poor Butters assigned to filter Cartman’s social media so he won’t see any negative comments - which are so terrible that Butters has a nervous breakdown. Meanwhile, Cartman and his friends Steven Seagal and Vin Diesel are hanging out in his “safe space” with bully-proof windows and troll-proof doors.

“People that support me, mixed in with / more people that support me, and say nice things!” Cartman sings - but watch out for mean old Reality who wants to break down the door.
