If base-jumping off cliffs is too tame for you, you could always bolt the parachute directly into the flesh of your back like this guy.
Extreme sports enthusiast Josh Miramant decided to spice up his base jumping game by having four 8mm canopy hooks pierced through the skin of his back, hooking his parachute to them, climbing to the top of a 377 foot cliff in Thailand, and jumping off with the sincere hope that his flesh could withstand the pull of the parachute.
Fortunately the hooks didn’t rip out of his back and leave him plummeting to his death, though he was bleeding by the time he landed. He said the adrenaline rush was so extreme, he didn’t feel any pain.
I, on the other hand, winced and cringed throughout the entire video. Ow ow ow ow ow ow.
