This video is an interesting social experiment done by New York Rescue Mission in an effort to make the homeless more visible. Several unsuspecting people are interviewed about their loved ones… Meanwhile, the very same loved ones have been dressed to look homeless. Before the interview gets started, every person in the experiment walked by their wives, mothers, brothers, cousins and uncles without even glancing in their direction. When they are showed this video they become quite emotional. It is a humbling truth that homeless people are real people who should not be treated like they’re invisible.
