Cygnet rescue – Simon beaten up by an angry swan

Swans are instinctively very protective parents, and the Wildlife Aid sure shows us that in this video. And angry male swan, known as a cob, doesn’t let anyone near his baby cygnet after it gets stuck in a fence. That is until Simon from the Wildlife Aid forces the cob into the water to try and push the little cygnet back through the fence to free it. All while Simon is trying to rescue the cygnet, the cob is constantly pecking at Simon’s arm.
We’re so glad that there are people like Simon out there, doing the work that he does!
