A film student from Utah has re-edited Pixar’s hit film about emotions, Inside Out, to only show the scenes that take place outside of its protagonist Riley’s head.
While the run time significantly decreases, and of course now contains some slightly odd visual jumps throughout, there’s still something there. The actual plot may be a little scarce, but the heart is there. It’s something a little more reminiscent of an angsty coming of age film where you actually aren’t privy to the turmoil going on inside the teen’s mind (go figure).
Regardless, it’s an interesting way to look at the film, and a recommended viewing for anyone who enjoyed it in its original form.
