  • Just in time for Suicide Squad to swoop in and battle Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice for the title of “2016’s Most Disappointing Movie” — a fight way more interesting than anything that happens in either movie — CinemaSins has issued a brutal, 20-minute takedown of BvS. (It’s worth noting that this video is more than twice as long as their video about Zootopia, a movie that is literally thousands of times better.)

Despite the fact that BvS grossed nearly a billion dollars worldwide, and is one of the top 50 highest-grossing movies ever, it’s still an absolute steaming pile. Even so, it has its share of defenders online. As of this writing, 65% of user reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are positive. But CinemaSins has a way with showing people the flaws in even their favorite movies.

Of special derision by the CinemaSins is director Zack Snyder’s near-constant use of slow motion, the borderline insane “twist” about Batman and Superman’s mothers, and, well, everything else. The movie is not spared CinemaSins’ wrath, with the final sin tally reaching nearly 200. I can’t wait until Suicide Squad gets the same treatment in a few months.
