And that’s what many people are doing – forgetting it. According to Experian, “cord-cutters” increased by 44% in four years with 7.6 million households saying goodbye to traditional cable.
Instead, they are turning to other screens; watching videos on their phones, movies on their laptops and their favorite TV shows on their tablets. You no longer have to watch television at home on your couch, which makes internet streaming or downloading not only more cost-effective, but more convenient and more versatile. Why wait to watch TV to get home when your train ride to work is sooo boring?
