  • Yesterday during a meeting with lawmakers, during a discussion regarding immigration, Trump said: “Why are we having people from shithole countries come here,” referring to immigrants from black populated countries such as El Salvador and Haiti, and saying that he would much prefer immigrants from Norway. You know, an incredibly white country. So, clearly, the president is a racist. This is something we’ve known for a while, but slowly the country seems to be waking up to this unfortunate fact more and more.

CNN, itself incredibly guilty of giving Trump way too much airtime during the campaign for the purpose of entertainment, has seemingly and finally turned a corner. Not a complete corner — they still give airtime to absolute ignoramuses in the purpose of fairness, but they don’t tolerate them as much. The stand out of the night was Don Lemon. Don Lemon opens up the show by saying: “This is CNN Tonight. I’m Don Lemon. The president is a racist. A lot of us already knew that.” He then confronts Trump’s supporters — why they make excuses for Trump, why they follow him so blindly, and silently says they can go fuck themselves. They’re great clips. Check them out.

  • A highlight of the evening — at least for me — was when Don Lemon just shut up and ignored the talking head brought in to defend Trump and pushed him off screen. Also, someone told that guy he would gut him like a fish? That was cool.

  • Nice. As beautiful, insane, and raw as Don Lemon’s show was (like a normal CNN show where the host has had enough, it was incredible), Anderson Cooper’s was something to witness as well. Anderson Cooper — through tears — discussed his old Haitian teacher who was killed while running for president of Haiti, and how strong the people of Haiti were after an earthquake ravaged their country, killing anywhere between 200,000 – 300,000 people, and how they have more strength than the current president will ever have. It’s very powerful. Check it out below.
