  • Pixar has a habit of making films that casually change our lives. From Toy Story to Finding Nemo to Inside Out, every idea is original, unique, and envelopes audiences in an all encompassing world. Every Pixar trailer feels like an event, and this one is no different. Presenting — Coco, Pixar’s latest motion picture.

Directed by Lee Unkrich, who co-directed Toy Story 3, Coco was inspired by the Mexican holiday Dias De Los Muertos, and tells the story of a young child who— so desperate to prove his talent —goes to the land of the dead. The trailer has a dazzling atmosphere to it, and hints at a number of beautiful skeleton creatures, weird ghost town locals, and also that dog looks great. I can’t wait to see that dog.

And how Pixar is going to make us cry this time around! They’ve thought of so many ways in the past, why should this one make any difference? The film stars Anthony Gonzales, Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Renée Victor and Ana Ofelia Murguia, and is being released on November 22nd, 2017.
