Jennifer Lopez Dramatically Reads ‘Baby Got Back’

Jennifer Lopez is going to be hitting the covers of W Magazine, and as part of her feature, filmed a “playful PSA” with the magazine encouraging ladies to love their bodies.

Lopez did a dramatic reading of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” and framed the lyrics to be even more empowering than they already are.

In the her cover story, she spoke about how American Idol changed public perception of her image, although there were still some major drawbacks:

“It has been easier. People may now think I’m ‘nice,’ but they still act surprised when I’m smart. It’s a man’s world, and, truly, people in a business setting do not value a woman as much as a man. I feel like I’m constantly having to prove myself. If a man does one thing well, people immediately say he’s a genius. Women have to do something remarkable over and over and over. And, even then, they get questions about their love life.”

We can only hope she continues to change the minds of both men and women everywhere.
