Andy Park took to Target to test and see if the company's new bathroom policy would actually be enforced in a random store, and as it turns out, yes it will be.
Park intended to create a negative video around the Target Bathroom policy allowing men and women to use whichever bathroom they feel is their assigned gender. So far, 700,000 people have signed a petition to boycott Target unless the company "ensures the safety of women and children" by revoking the policy, but so far the company has held firm.
As a matter of fact, Mediaite reached out to Target who responded to Park's video saying:
Thanks for reaching out.
We certainly respect that there are a wide variety of perspectives and opinions. As a company that firmly stands behind what it means to offer our team an inclusive place to work — and our guests an inclusive place to shop – we continue to believe that this is the right thing for Target.
So, all Park did was confirm that Target cares about all of its customers.
