The verdict is out! Apple has named the juggernaut photo sharing app Instagram its “definitive” app of the year. With 15 million users snapping and adding photo filtering flavor to their classic shots, this comes as no surprise. According to Instagram’s blog, approximately 400 million images have been posted by the app’s community. Apple announced the news hot on the heals of Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom announcing at the LeWeb conference that Instagram will soon be available on Android phones.
