'My Super Sweet 16' Is Coming Back to MTV

Bring on the rich kid meltdowns.

  • My Super Sweet 16 is returning to MTV, and I could not be more excited.

The reality show, that originally aired in 2005, made its mark featuring some of the most outrageous antics of teens as they prepared for their lavish birthday celebrations. Alongside the show's staple rich kids, a handful of teen celebrities were also featured - Aly & AJ, Teyana Taylor, E.B. Wright, and more.

Word of the show's revival hit when casting company Doron Ofir revealed they were looking for boys and girls planning a "coming of age milestone event." Now that the show isn't solely going to feature "Sweet 16's," I'm hoping we will be blessed with plenty of drama over cars, cakes, and whatever else there is to complain about.

In fact, remember when this happened?

  • Apparently getting a luxury car before your party is the end of the world.

Thank you, MTV… for bringing back the greatest show ever.
