There are those rescues that start with a phone call. This one began with a hunch. Something made her suspect this was not another stray when Zully Vasquez Ventura saw a wonky-eared dog on a roadside in Cleveland, Texas. In her community, Ventura has assisted in the salvaging of more than 5000 dogs. Yet, needless to tell, what this mother dog was concealing in a mound of guttering rubbish would halt the veteran rescuer in his tracks.
Meet Zully

Zully Vasquez Ventura relocated to Cleveland, Texas, and rescued more than 5000 dogs in Colony Ridge. She also makes frequent rounds in the area, feeds strays, and also works deep into the rescue organizations in search of those animals with loving homes.
First Clue

To be nearer Ventura saw that the dog had full breast-loads of milk–lately, too, she had a litter. She gave her food and inquired where her puppies were. The mother was sitting and could not be moved.
The Wait

The following day and the following asked the mother to display the puppies, which Ventura went back to just for that reason. She never moved. Ventura made a choice to apply her detective pet powers and surveillance sneakily.
Into Woods

Surveillance showed how the mother came out of the restroom woods. Listening over an hour with his ear to the rain-gale that was approaching Ventura. She had not discovered anything whatever.
Strange Bark

During her search in the woods, the mother was yelling and even pointing Ventura away towards some direction. Ventura became a mother hen–quite unsuspecting that the dog was leading her somewhere quite a different direction.
Glass Glimmer

She caught a glance of leaving the woods as a glitter in a glass fishbowl. Next, she could hear puppies crying. Three puppies had been left in a box in the trash, covered by bedding and bubble wrap.
Heartbreak Moment

To towel-running, the mother vanished in her box. That is what made Ventura–the dog believed she should be in the rubbish. As soon as the puppies were safe, the mother sprang into the car.
Sad News

Ventura arranged the family with Three Little Pitties Rescue. It was a shame that one of the puppies died. But all the mother dogs, including River and her remaining puppies, were eventually taken into warm, loving homes.
Pure Heart

Ventura has rescued thousands of people, yet this rescue remained with her. She was absolutely determined to locate the puppies of this dog, as something told her that it had puppies. She did, buried in the trash the whole time.
