If Wes Anderson Had Directed “Forrest Gump”

This parody of what a Wes Anderson-directed version of the classic Tom Hanks film would be like is too spot on.

  • Louis Paquet’s redo of the Forrest Gump opening credits if the movie had been directed by Wes Anderson nailed the hipster director’s style so perfectly it seems real.

Opening on a box of chocolates, the clip uses Anderson’s penchant for symmetry, use of yellow font, and inclusion of quirky personal objects. I can only imagine what the “Dear God, please make me a bird” scene would have been like in Anderson’s hands. (Maybe some stop-motion?)
