So there’s this super cool married couple from Brooklyn making a living busking around New York City as the band Coyote and Crow. According to their website, they play folk-americana, bluegrass, and old time music on homemade and modified instruments. It’s all very hipster — but in the cool way, not in the fedora way.
Anyway, they’re playing a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Me & My Uncle” in a Brooklyn subway station and it speaks to one little girl’s dancing heart. What’s more fun than a spontaneous dance party with your mom and a bunch of strangers? These damn kids today are so carefree and happy. We can only hope this cutie holds on to that happy-go-lucky attitude because, like the wise Amy Poehler says, “I think if you can dance and be free and not embarrassed you can rule the world.”
