After eight years of waiting a sequel to the 2008 comedy film, which starred Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, is finally in the works. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are again writing the script together and shooting is set to start this Fall in Sacramento, California. Additionally, we can expect all of the original cast to return for the sequel.
Not too much about the plot is yet known, but MBY News reports:
insider sources are claiming that it involves the two step brothers, both now with menial jobs, living in an apartment together in Sacramento, California. Dale finds out that he has accidentally impregnated a young woman who wants nothing to do with the baby after it is born leaving Dale and Brennan to raise the baby themselves.
It sounds almost as ridiculous as the first movie. We hope it’s just as funny.
