50,000 POUNDS OF POTATOES On the Highway?

50,000 pounds of potatoes were spilled onto a North Carolina highway completely closing down the road for several hours.

Not all of the spuds were rendered useless! All potatoes that weren’t contaminated by the road are being sent to a food gleaning center to be cleaned and given to the needy.

At least something came out of this potential disaster!
