With Christmas comes either really fun or emotionally-driven adverts. There seems to be no in between. So far, my absolute favorite from this year has to be #BusterTheBoxer simply because I had a boxer growing up and think they are completely adorable.
If you’re looking for something that’ll pull on your heart strings a little bit, this Polish Christmas advert made by online auction site Allegro definitely has something good in store for you.

The ad features an elderly Polish man teaching himself English with the help of a book entitled English for Beginners. To learn the basics, he plasters sticky notes on everything he can around his home. Why is he doing this though? He’s learning English one second, and the next he’s jet-setting for the holidays. Who is he going to see? Is it his long lost love? We need answers!
*cue the waterworks* He was learning English for his granddaughter!
