  • We love our hyper intelligent children’s characters — your Lisa Simpsons, your Calvins from Calvin and Hobbes’ (he was smart! Just unappreciated for it, dagnab it) — but we’re so used to them being in fiction! Well folks, turn off your fiction eyes, because Twitter has discovered a real world tiny genius — the daughter of author Mason Cross who said in response to the question “Thing(s) my Teacher Can Do Better— quote—

“Not use collective punishment as it is not fair on the many people who did nothing and under the 1949 Genva [sic] Conventions it is a war crime.”

Damn! Damn kid! Damn! When Mason Cross tweeted out the photo he wondered if he should ground his strangely hyper intelligent daughter, or buy her ice cream, and the internet decided the answer was simply beyond obvious — buy her ice cream of course, you weird goof!
