  • The world is still mourning the loss of a true TV legend in Adam West, who passed away on June 10th, and was best known for playing Batman on the television show from the 1960’s. In his honor, Los Angeles recently held an event where they lit up the Bat-Signal onto the side of city hall. People spoke in Adam West’s honor — from Mayor Eric Garcetti, to the chief of police who wishes he too had a Bat-Signal he can call Batman down with, and then Burt Ward — aka the actor who played Batman’s greatest chum Robin in the 1960’s —who said that Adam West would want everyone to be joyous because he spent his entire life making people happy and making people laugh, before ending the speech with a joyous “Wowee Zowee”.

The signal lit up city hall, and it was a beautiful sight, as the fans in the audience sang the familiar 1960’s Batman theme that delighted adventure loving ears for generations.
