Daredevil Wu Yongning died last month while attempting a wall-climbing stunt in southeast China. Wu was attempting the stunt at the 62-story Huayuan International Centre in Changsha, Hunan Province. His family told reporters that he was attempting the stunt to win $15,000 in prize money.
Wu’s camera captured this part of the climb and the moment when he loses his grip and falls. He died after a 45-foot fall onto a below terrace.According to the South China Morning Post, Wu was planning to propose to his girlfriend the day after completing the challenge. The incident took place on November 8, but Wu’s girlfriend Jinjin only made the announcement recently, after fans were worried when he hadn’t updated to his Weibo account in over a month.
