In this video, a small technical device sends out high frequency vibrations through a window, a technique called “bone conduction,” and those vibrations are transformed into a voice when you’re leaning your head against the window. It seems like a technology that would have limited use, but in this case it’s being used to beam advertisements to passengers who lean their heads against the window on subways.
