Kat Graham (Vampire Dairies and single “Put Your Graffiti on Me”) and Lamorne Morris (Fox’s New Girl) offered Instagram five bucks to buy the photo sharing company, but I guess they had a better offer.
Facebook buying Instagram was the topic of our real time conversation this week as the two stars talked with Shira about how much money they offered Instagram, what apps they want to create, and their experiences with Instagram.
Kat Graham on how her music video “Put Your Graffiti on Me” went viral:
“…the fans have been amazing and so supportive. And a huge part of this journey and it showed how powerful the internet is and how powerful people are. If they like something, they are going to watch it, play it, they are going to tweet it.”
On how Lamorne Morris got the part of Winston in New Girl:
“…I had 15 auditions for it. The most gruesome slash ridiculous process ever. (It makes you feel) 50/50. Half of it is that they still like me. And the other half is damn, do they still like me?”
Kat Graham on Instagram:
“I think that Instagram is kinda like the visual version of Facebook, so incorporating it is a really, really smart idea. So that people will start to look at them as kinda of the same company, which is what they want and it’s a really smart idea.”
Lamorne Morris on what app he would create:
“A scratch and sniff app….just scratch and smell. Well, I don’t know how to do the scent thing, that’s for someone else to figure out, but I want to start that up.
