Having recently reached 1 million subscribers and signed with Diddy’s Interscope-distributed Bad Boy Records label, YouTube songstress Megan Nicole joined hosts Shira Lazar and Jason Horton on What’s Trending to answer fans’ burning questions and tease what excitement is still to come in her music career.

She’s currently working on her debut album, which she describes as personal and fun, with a nice mix of pop and more laid back tunes. “A lot of the songs on this album are just about living in the moment, enjoying life, being young,” she says.
Megan started singing in fourth grade when her dad got a karaoke machine, but she didn’t pursue it seriously until high school when she picked up some guitar-playing skills. She went on to master ukulele and piano. Next up? “I want to pick up drums,” she identifies as a new challenge.
Her international fanbase was eager to know if Megan would be touring Europe soon. While she would love to return to perform, the upcoming tour this fall will be U.S.-based.
“It’s still surreal…it’s all thanks to the fans and their incredible support,” Megan says. They have been amazing over these past few years and I’m excited to see where these journeys are going to take us.”
