Actor Lance Reddick passed away at 60 years old. He died of “natural causes” according to his media representative Mia Hansen. Reddick was known for his roles in television drama “The Wire” and the “John Wick” franchise. Reddick made a name for himself in entertainment with groundbreaking roles in the 90s in shows like “New York Undercover” and “The West Wing.”
He told The Guardian in 2010 that he aspired to be a musician since his childhood growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, and fell into acting as a means to financially support himself and his family. He wound up finding a true passion for his new craft, and went on to graduate from the Yale University School of Drama. After graduation, he went on to play several memorable roles, in the shows “Lost”, “Bosch,” “Fringe”, and more recently Netflix’s “Resident Evil.” He also provided voiceovers for several successful video games, including “Horizon Zero Dawn” and the “Destiny” franchise.
