Francia Raísa is speaking out against cyberbullying. The actress, notably of “Bring It On”, “Grownish” and “How I Met Your Father” has long been a close friend to fellow actress and multi-hyphenate Selena Gomez. Gomez famously said that Taylor Swift is her only friend in the entertainment industry, leading many to question if she was still friends with Raísa after she donated a kidney to Gomez in 2017 after hers failed due to lupus. A source then alleged to TMZ that the pair were no longer friends due to Gomez opting to not quit drinking alcohol following her kidney transplant. After paparazzi cornered Raísa with questions about her friendship with Gomez, and the actress opted to offer only vague commentary, some fans started running wild with rumors.

After months of experiencing online hatred over an alleged personal falling out with The Wizards of Waverly Place star, Raísa decided to speak out. When TMZ cornered the actress again, she revealed the intensely violent messages she continues to receive. She detailed one message that read “I hope someone goes up your p*ssy and rips out your other kidney you f*cking whore.”

Some Gomez fans are supporting Raísa amid her statements, while others are continuing to accuse her of betraying Gomez in some regard.

Others argue that Raísa should have simply turned off her comments to avoid the harassment.
