What began in 2018 as a raw, unfiltered sex and dating podcast co-created with Barstool Sports has since turned into a full-blown media empire. After moving to Spotify in 2021, Call Her Daddy made headlines again in 2024 with a record-breaking $125 million multiyear deal at SiriusXM—one of the biggest podcast agreements to date.
Directed by Russo-Young, Call Her Alex traces the moments that defined Cooper’s career and identity, painting a nuanced portrait of her rise in an industry still largely dominated by men. Cooper’s own Unwell Productions produced the documentary, alongside executive producers Russo-Young, Braden Bochner, and Christopher Foss. Holly Siegel serves as producer.
