In the video, Charli and Troye Sivan are seen dancing and lip-syncing to the revamped track in a backstage area. Charli passes the camera to Sivan during his verse, creating a dynamic and engaging preview of their collaboration.
In the snippet, Sivan sings, “OK, here’s the plan, I wanna fly you out to Amsterdam,” followed by details about his romantic intentions. The remix appears to extend the original “Talk Talk,” with Sivan’s verse coming in seamlessly after Charli’s outro. Although Dua Lipa’s involvement in the remix has been hinted at, her voice is not heard in the snippet. Charli XCX reportedly shared a voice note from Lipa on her private Brat Instagram account a few days prior. Sivan’s “Rush” producers, Zhone and Styalz Fuego, also mentioned working on the remix and tagged Dua Lipa on their Stories, adding to the speculation about her contribution.
The original “Talk Talk” is featured on Charli XCX’s latest album, *Brat*, which was released in June to widespread acclaim. The album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, marking Charli’s highest chart position to date. Over the summer, Charli has been enhancing the album with various remixes, including collaborations with Addison Rae, Robyn, Yung Lean, Lorde, and Billie Eilish.
