Amanda Bynes is resuming her podcast just one day after she claimed it would be on hiatus due to the lack of A-list guests.
“We are going to continue the podcast,” the actress, 37, said in a Monday Instagram Story video after speaking to “a few friends” about her decision.
“They all said to keep going. I think that podcasts just take time to grow [and] to build a following,” the “All That” alum explained to fans.
“I shouldn’t have said what I said last night about not getting the type of guests we were looking forward to getting because you never know we might get them in the future,” Bynes continued. “And the guests we have lined up are really great.”
In another video, “The Amanda Show” alum let viewers in on who would be the next interviewee for Paul Sieminski and herself.
“The podcast guest gates of heaven have opened because we have found our next guest for the episode on Friday,” she revealed. “His name is Nick Mendez and he is the store manager of the store Flight Club in LA. I cannot wait to interview him.”
Bynes dropped the first episode of the “Amanda Bynes and Paul Sieminski: Podcast” on Dec. 11.
Just a week later, Bynes told her TikTok followers that she planned to take a break unless she booked Drake, Jack Harlow, Post Malone or similarly successful stars.
“Even though the podcast is doing really well and the response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now,” the “She’s the Man” star said on Sunday. “Thank you everyone who watched. I really hope you enjoyed it.”
However, Bynes “felt really sad” and was in a “really bad mood” after vocalizing her decision on social media.
“The podcast was actually something I was really looking forward to filming next week,” the “What a Girl Wants” star said on Monday. “It was something I was really happy and excited about.”
Bynes recently had her nine-year conservatorship come to an end in 2022, and was placed under multiple psychiatric holds this year before she began promoting her podcast in November.
Since back in the spotlight, the former actress debuted platinum blond hair and let many know the results of a recent eyelid cosmetic surgery. The FIDM graduate even revealed new blue eyebrows.
“I saw a couple of stories online that say I have a new look,” Amanda noted in a Dec. 11 TikTok video. “I was never open about this before but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds and the corners of my eye so I don’t have those skin folds anymore.”
She continued, “It was one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin. So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look.”
In another clip, she also spoke to her fans about the reason why she “usually” doesn’t look good in paparazzi photos. According to Bynes, It’s because paparazzi photos are taken outside and the sunlight is usually “harsh and bright” on her skin.
