Anwar Hadid reacted to the recent headlines that got out after his Instagram story posts made headlines, which many thought were about Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras.
“Crazy how the internet will just make whole articles about s–t they don’t know anything about!!” the model, 23, wrote via his Instagram Story on Monday, May 22. “Y’all are bored as f–k!!!! SORRY.”
In a previous IG story post, Hadid shared a mirror selfie that showed him wearing pants with a black blazer sporting no shirt.
Hadid’s message came into light after fans began to wonder if deleted posts were actually about his ex-girlfriend Dua Lipa who made her public debut with new romance interest Romain Gavras.
According to reports, Anwar posted a series of alarming messages.
“Trying to not to find and kill him. :),” the musician, 23, captioned a selfie in a now-deleted Instagram Story.
He also shared three additional IG story posts that read “I cant [sic] breath [sic],” “Have fun” and “I hate the way you say my name.”

Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid‘s young brother who dated the singer from 2019-2021 posted the same selfie on his Instagram feed on May 20th promoting his new single “The Skrugh”. The younger brother has not been in headlines as much as his big sisters.
Just the day prior, the “One Kiss” singer walked the red carpet with her new man at the Cannes Film Festival at the premiere of Omar La Fraise (The King of Algiers).
The two were first inked together in February after they were seen leaving a party together in London. They were seen holding hands in Paris shortly afterward.
“For me, this is the first year I’ve not been in a relationship for a very long time,” the U.K. native said on an episode of her “Dua Lipa: At Your Service” podcast. “It’s been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish, which I’ve never really had the opportunity to do. But when you find someone that really softens you and calms you down … it makes a big difference!”
The “New Rules” singer was later linked to Jack Harlow in December 2022, an insider told Us Weekly that Lipa and rapper, 25, “liked each other’s vibes” after briefly crossing paths.
“They had FaceTimed before when Jack asked Dua permission for his song about her, but that was an awkward call for everyone,” the source explained at the time, referring to Harlow’s song titled “Dua Lipa.”

Dua Lipa and Gavras have yet to address Anwar’s cryptic messages. However, fans of the former couple posted on Anwar’s page to offer their support with several mentioning how much they missed their romance.
