The “7 Things” artist and luxury real estate agent separated earlier this year and “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship” a source confirmed.

TMZ was the first to report on the news.

Grande has been filming the screen adaption of Wicked, and was spotted without her engagement ring and wedding band over the weekend at Wimbledon.

Last August, the star shared a makeup tutorial on TikTok where she was spotted without the ring, but shut down any breakup rumors pretty quick.

“I’m just not wearing my wedding ring, it’s getting cleaned. I’m not getting a divorce before you start, don’t,” she said at the time.

Back in May of 2023, Grande posted to Instagram to celebrate the couple’s second anniversary. She captioned the photo “I love him so.”

Gomez also shard photos for Valentine’s Day this year, which Grande re-shared.

“My forever valentine,” he wrote atop the picture, while Grande re-shared it and added, “I love you” with a heart.

Back in 2021, a representative for the singer confirmed that they tied the knot: “The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”

The two wed in an intimate ceremony at their home in Montecito, California with less than 20 people present.

“They’re a great fit together,” a source told PEOPLE following their nuptials. “Dalton’s entirely unfazed by the scope of her celebrity and is very grounding for her. He’s young but mature and knows what he wants out of life.”

A second source added of Gomez: “He is very hardworking and focused. He is low-key and doesn’t like attention. He isn’t impressed by celebrities. He is perfect for her.”

The two began dating back in January of 2020, and shortly announced an engagement 11 months later.

The news comes shortly after tabloids rumored that the two split earlier this year. Deuxmoi and other outlets had speculated that the two broke up but there was no confirmation.
