Ariana Madix is ready to enter the villa once again, and this time she is not leaving.
The Vanderpump Rules star is set to keep working on more projects since ‘Scandoval’ and this time she is taking on a new role as a host.
Peacock officially announced the reality-star is the new host of the U.S. version of the hit show Love Island.
Madix’s stint will begin with the upcoming season 6, which airs exclusively on the streaming platform this summer. The announcement comes a day after Sarah Hyland shared in an Instagram story that she “will not be returning to the island this summer,” as she is currently “committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA.”
Madix has apparently been a longtime fan of the show, and previously made cameos on the fifth season of Love Island USA and even on Love Island Games.
Madix also confirmed the news in a video on her Instagram, captioning the clip: “see you in the villa for an all new season of @loveislandusa hosted by me! 😱🌴🥹💖👙”
“Talk about a bombshell! This summer, I’m trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis,” she said in the video before confirming her hosting debut. “I can’t wait to stir up some trouble in paradise!”

Her first appearance on the show was a couple of months after Scandoval, where she referenced her disgraced ex Tom Sandoval’s remark on the Bravo show about not having time “to watch 50 goddamn episodes of Love Island” as his reason for not being on board with Madix’s “definition of quality time.”
The star told contestants at the time, “Take it from me, it’s important to know who you’re dating or sharing a bed with,” Madix said, clearly alluding to her intense fallout with Sandoval. “And if they’re not the one for you, trust me, it’s better to find out sooner rather than later.”
Besides her guest stint on Love Island and new hosting gig, Madix placed third on Dancing With the Stars‘ season 32, and starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. She’s also in final process of opening her sandwich shop Something About Her with VPR co-star Katie Maloney.
