Beyoncé released a 20th anniversary edition of “B’Day” on her birthday, expanding her 2006 sophomore album into a 31-track digital deluxe with remastered audio, new videos and a batch of Spanish-language recordings. The original arrived Sept. 4, 2006, cut in a two-week session with Beyoncé steering the sessions as singer, songwriter and producer.
The headline addition is “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor),” a duet with Selena. The Quintanilla estate rarely clears her vocals, which makes the pairing of two Texas singers unusual on its own. Beyoncé has credited hearing Selena on Houston radio as the reason she recorded her 2007 Spanish EP.
She also teams with Maluma for the first time on “Cuerpo Tumbao (Get Me Bodied),” which samples Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao.” Both tracks are digital-only.
The reissue folds in “Morning Dew (Donk),” the song that leaked in 2023 and got an official Jay-Z remix in August, plus vault material including “Can I Watch You” with Pharrell and “My First Time,” originally recorded for “Dangerously in Love.” B-sides “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole” and “Back Up” round out the set.
Videos shot on 35 mm have been remastered and finished in 4K, among them Sophie Muller’s “Déjà Vu,” out now. Unreleased photos from the New Orleans shoot are included in the packaging.

“B’Day” is out in standard and deluxe vinyl, CD and digital, according to Parkwood Entertainment. The deluxe pressing is a 4LP set on blue vinyl with a 60-page booklet.
